chalet
date: 27th to 29th nov 2006
venue: costa sands pasir ris (NOT DOWNTOWN EAST OUTLET!) unit number h03 and h04 (basically h is the block number)
time: meet at 215pm at pasir ris mrt (if you know you are going to be late but still want to meet at pasir ris mrt please msg someone) or 230pm at costa sands pasir ris on the 27th of november
how to get there (for those who are going on their own): take mrt to pasir ris mrt then take either a shuttle bus(comes hourly) or take 354. alternatively can just take 3, 6, 12, 17, 21, 89, 358 from whereever u are. but this one u all will have to alight at downtown east and walk in.
just to clear up any confusions u all might have, costa sands PASIR RIS is the one that is further in as compared to costa sands DOWNTOWN EAST (costa sands downtown east is where we had sec 4 camp). any problems feel free to msg/call me on my hp.
price: $19 for chalet (not inclusive of food). for those not staying can at least please pay $10?
approximately $9 for bbq (on 1st night)
food items for bbq that we are planning to get:
1) 40 chicken wings [bought]
2) 30 otah
3) 40 satay [bought]
4) 3 packets crab sticks [bought]
5) 30 sausages [bought]
6) 30 fish balls [bought]
7) 5 potatoes [bought]
8) 2 packets of marshmallows [bought]
9) drinks [shu's bringing one bottle of green tea!]
10) beehoon/fried rice [shu can bring!]
11) curry
yep. anything u find too little or too much leave a msg on my phone or on tagboard. btw siting u better get your own food dun think 5 potatoes are going to be enuff! bring your cans. sorry cant provide for u. =(
can anyone help buy otah, cook beehoon and cook curry? cuz we are really shorthanded. kl and i are going to marinate the chicken wings and buy the other things. if u can then please edit this post and write your name next to those items above.
i hope everyone would be able to help bring the following items if possible from home so as to try and offset the cost of the bbq (since the chalet is already SO expensive)
1) disposable forks x 30 [zuojin bring]
2) disposable spoons x 30 [zuojin bring]
3) disposable plates x 30 [xiaowei bring]
4) disposable cups x50
5) serviettes/tissue box [xiaowei can bring lah]
6) aluminum foil 1 roll [kl bringing]
7) tongs x AS MANY AS POSSIBLE [xiaowei can bring erm.. 2 or 3?]
8) fire starters [dawn bringing]
9) 1 brush for butter [xiaowei: i have!]
10) trash bags [xiaowei: i have too! but how many do you need? hi xw thanks bring bout 2-3. ANYWAY i thought u can help bring the utensils?]
11) detergent and scrubs/sponges [kailin bring. OI. some other pple bring some other stuff lehhh.... why i bring detergent. so random.]
12) toilet paper (for you know who) [zuojin bring! 3 rolls?]
13) satay sticks [kl bringing]
yes if u can help, once again do the same thing and edit the post. add your name beside the thing you can bring. if u see that someone has already offered to bring it, please try and bring something else!
I WILL BE CHECKING THIS POST ON SUNDAY NIGHT AROUND 10PM.
if theres any item that no one is able to bring then we would just have to buy them OR just ignore its existence, but the cost of the bbq will be increased. yep. hope everyone can help! kinda desperate!
and for the chalet itself, everyone please rmb to bring clothes to change, toiletries, MONEY, and lots of games.
help bring poker cards and mahjong sets(xiaowei help! i m bringing one set already) and board games (han shu hui! do your part!) and maybe balls to play with? sounds sick. haha. what i mean is vball or bball etc. if not we will just end up stoning in the chalet!

the rest haven't reply.. okok. so we'll most prob be having a caterer (bbq? or not?). so yay. won't kena food poisoning.
pls come pls come pple! plenty of space! two rooms! one put bag and one to sleep! two bathrooms! two toilets! one for those who like to shit a lot (bet you don't wan go there) and one for those who don't! plenty of food! (we'll buy.) plenty of fun! (got everyone else) plenty of air.. plenty of water... plenty of sun.. plenty of ....
