hey fofms!

i just want to thank ALL of u for coming down on friday :) really didn't expect the attendance to be so good..like 20. cos i was leaving room for disappointment..haha but wow no disappointment at all! YAYYYY love you guys :) anyway, i was just hoping kailin's video rekindled some kind of feelings in you guys...when i randomly came across it and decided to view it, i felt extremely lucky to have been in class 404 for 2 years. to feel the pride of being in 404, to feel the togetherness we had back in the good old days of sec 3 sec 4. and 404 continues to stun :) like how we chase away people with our noise at forture. how we can gather at the bustop for 1 whole hour looking at the video, talking, playing ouch. how we can have 20/22 attendance even after 2 whole years. no one can beat us man haha. we deserve more than the MODEL CLASS AWARD lol.

anyway guys! whilst 2008's running out of meaning for you sometimes because you haven't been seeing your friends too much, or because work's getting mundane or too stressful, or things haven't been going on smoothly, let's all just remember this is part of growing up. :) i mean. wow sounds philosophical but i think many of us are experiencing new phases in life, and at the beginning, things almost always don't go smoothly. but it's part of the package of learning and yeah! we'll pull through it :) and u can always rummage through your cupboards for all the old messages from friends, photos, presents etc. and feel the warm fuzzy feeling :) and realise that life isn't that tough to handle after all!

CHALET ANYONE?

HEY fofms!

there's been talk of booking a 404 chalet over a weekend to brighten up our mundane working lives! haha i think we shld go for a chalet! play mahjong, talk crap, play i have never, cards, eat bbq, slack, sleep like a pig, boil water whatever for 2 whole days :) who can think of a civil servant who is willing to take the responsibility of booking the chalet for us? let's hold it in May or something...june's out, it'll be school holidays, so it's super-peak and expensive.

anyway guys! i went kukup m'sia last wkend and it was fantabulous slacking away can. there was karaoke, chilli crabs, prawns and fish for ALL lunches and dinner, 2 mahjong tables, many mudskippers, crabs, jellyfishes. ahhhhhhh. i just rotted and grew fat. guess what, there was a bbq, and none of us even had to TOUCH the charcoal or the tongs at all. all the bbq-ing was done by the lady, and the washing up too. there was even green bean soup after that. talk about good service. anyways! ALL that for $65 per person! with accomodation, transportation, all meals and a boat ride COVERED!

btw accomodation was GOOD can! as in not hotel standards, but we had a bed to ourselves, so we can allow certain people with the surname of NGO to happily fall asleep first, while the rest of us sing karaoke and play cards/mahjong into the night. btw got dvd player. can watch movie too!

the point issssssssssss...YOU GUYS WANNA GO?apart from the fact that it's in m'sia and we need to do immigration and may be dangerous or anything...we can actually get a better deal than staying in chalet...we can do the sort of things we do in chalets, eat bbq-ed food without having to touch the charcoal at all, get good meals for breakfast, dinner and lunch. ENTICING ANOT!don't need to take leave. we'll set off on saturday morning, be back on sunday evening.Add-on: coach bus ride is about 3plus hrs...

currently, there're 11 pple who say they wanna go genting, and 11 saying they wanna go malacca. so it's TIE!

ok. so i'm going to elab a bit on the two trips above then decide again on sunday when you all come my house k! (: whee.

genting:

cost is $135. will depart on fri night or sat morn. then check in hotel when we reach, depending on the time. then it's off to the rides and everything. then we'll have dinner and all then see wad we wanna do (go back to rides or go walk walk shop shop). then next morn we can walk/shop/eat then we'll take the afternoon bus back to singapore. will reach ard 9.

if you wanna have a more comfy ride, we can pay abt 40 bucks more then we can get comfy comfy vip coach which i heard incl indiv tvs!!! (:

malacca:

cost is $110. i'm not so sure what we wanna do over there. we'll most prob eat/shop/take photos. lol. a relaxing shopping weekend, i guess. i heard the hotel is next to the shopping centre. lol.

ok. so basically, the date is set as feb 16 and 17. it's after cny and hopefully before release of results. so that we won't clash with the applications of whatever stuff you'll be applying for.

we're going for the DBS/POSB credit card star cruise promo "1 for 1" offer.
DATE: 15-17 FEB 08 (weekend-so that those working don't have to take leave)
Departing on 15th 9pm, arriving back to singapore on 17th 11am.
Itinery: basically....this tour doesn't stop anywhere, so we're just sailing out to sea and back! but we can do lots of things on the cruise though...like eat buffet, sleep, swim, play, casino!

if we go in fours (oh! how convenient), the amt per person, including surcharges but excluding any unknown taxes, is $472.

9. you can earn back the fees by working during the 6 mths (which is most prob wad you'll do anw). so what better way to spend money than splurge it on a SUPERSTAR VIRGO cruise trip with some ex-classmates and reminisce abt the good old days???

how to get there (for those who are going on their own): take mrt to pasir ris mrt then take either a shuttle bus(comes hourly) or take 354. alternatively can just take 3, 6, 12, 17, 21, 89, 358 from whereever u are. but this one u all will have to alight at downtown east and walk in.

just to clear up any confusions u all might have, costa sands PASIR RIS is the one that is further in as compared to costa sands DOWNTOWN EAST (costa sands downtown east is where we had sec 4 camp). any problems feel free to msg/call me on my hp.

price: $19 for chalet (not inclusive of food). for those not staying can at least please pay $10?
approximately $9 for bbq (on 1st night)

hi fourfour! its time for our annual chalet again! =)

its confirmed already, i have done the booking. it will be from 27th nov 2006 to 29th nov 2006! =) booked 2 single story units. total cost $276! everyone please come. we need the $$! but thats secondary, most imptly is that everyone will be there and having a great time with each other!

haha, i'm here to revive the blog!! muahahaha! i'm on a high now cos i just had well, chocolates. so much for my diet plan. anyway, i'm here to blog about teachers' day!

as most of you already know (cos you're there), most (more than half) of the class went back nanyang together. had a great time talking to mrs wong and mr nah. esp mr nah! cos he said that i've slimmed down! haha, anyway he slimmed down by quite alot too! like 8 kg leh! omg. if i ever manage to slim down by that much, i'll probably end up in the hospital due to exhaustion and extreme hunger. but he didn't, so i guess it's good for him lor! and he was really erm.. act cute lah! haha, he was probably in a reaalllyyyy good mood that day.

then some of us went to this restaurant at rail mall to eat and scare the other customers away. i think the people there was super happy when we left lah! the amount of noise that we generate was enough to cover any conversations that was intended to be carried out in that space. nevertheless, WE had a great time catching up with each other, taking photos, eating! and a couple of pranks here and there (opps!)

after that, a few of us went to watch the Devil Wears Prada. it's super good. highly reccommanded by erm, me! haha, so go and watch! it's nice! hahahahahahha!

hey 4/4! im doing this service learning project, and we are organising a one day event on the 12 aug to help raise funds for the SPCA. there will be a carnival, performances, competitions n etc etc during the event.

im kinda in charge of looking for volunteers to set up stalls for the carnival. stalls include food n game stalls, and im hoping tt some of u will be willing to set up stalls for the carnival. im really really short of volunteers n i really hope u guys will help out. erm u can pull some of ur present classmates now and set up a stall, or maybe 4/4 can set up stalls tgt! hanyun said tt ny funfair would be more fun if we were setting up a stall instead, so maybe we can make use of this chance to set up stalls again! but as each stall only needs around 5 volunteers, if 4/4 is goin to set up stalls, i guess we have to set up a few stalls n tend them altogether. oh yar.. try to keep the budget as low as possible coz we r short of cash haha.

yo guys! this year's ny anniversary dinner is coming! above are the details for the dinner. there will be a lucky draw, many table games and even a best dressed prize (dress up for the theme)! The food will be a 4 course Western meal and you will be entertained by performances from District (Aiwen and Yumin's band), Tainted Friday (Amanda's band) and The Nanyang Kindergarten Alumni, along with a section for you to dance your night away!

Cindy and I will be the emcees for the night and I promise you, we will make your night as enjoyable as possible! I sincerely hope that we will go as a class (hmm, actually quite a few pple expect that our class will do so, seeing how we're so full of class spirit and we always meet up etc), and we can also get to dress up and have fun!

By the way, the lucky draw prizes and best dressed prize are very very good! Do consider ok! We can make this our August meeting! And we'll get to see quite a few teachers! I've heard that many of the teachers will be going for the dinner. And we'll get to spend the night under the stars!

i dun really know if i enjoyed the funfair, bcos usually i dun unless we get to mend a stall ourselves. but still, im glad to have gone and met ms choo (didnt know that she would be there :)), and almost half of four four: eunice, zhi, yezi, peishan, joce, waiyee, aud, dawn, shu, yinghui and aiwen and yumin on stage. btw, the lt looks nice with the new stage. though it was super hot and sticky and stuffy at the fair, it feels so different to be back in nanyang. even taking the bus back home from the bus stop near to the esso petrol kiosk brought back memories. i simply miss the days in nanyang. they shall be missed forever. and oh, ms choo says that she will try to have an outing with us:) yay

hi 4/4! your activity coordinator is back!
suggestions have been made by some people (aka wai yee) to have chalet after block test instead! rather ingenious i must say. so the period for chalet would be between 30th June to 2nd July, a sunday to a tuesday. supposedly most of us would have finished blocks then. are you gals in favour of it? we could book aranda again, but of cuz it comes up to abt $460 for 2 nights, which means abt $23 per pax if 20 people from our class attend. THAT IS EXCLUDING BBQ (if you guys want). or we could book another place. only problem is no other place has the space for us to play mahjong and the convenience of shops nearby so that we can settle our breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper/midday snacks. please post your comments/suggestions on the tagboard, posts, or even tell me. but do try to do it ASAP so that we can book the chalet ASAP too.

four four outing

haha..eh eunice, i wanted to say that u r lazy for not wanting to blog about the outing.then i realised that you werent there that day.blur me again ...

four four outing is ever so fun as usual.luckily zuojin and eunice had each other when they werent there on thurs. anyway, we met up after csm, but lazed around while waiting for joce to finish taking council pics..so we waited until we were very hungry..anyways, that's not the point...haha..sorry yumin, but muz tell them about ur embarrasing encounter on the bus..we took 174 cos it came first..so we were deciding which crystal jade resturant to go to on the bus.finally decided to go to the one in scotts. the bus stopped b4 it reached tangs, and our dear yinghui asked yumin to get off the bus..so yumin got off, which was when we realised that it wasnt the right stop.tried calling yumin back but jus as she put one foot onto the step, the door closed. it was hilarious..poor yumin tried to walk to the front of the bus, but i pressed the bell, so the uncle opened the door. we were laughing like mad, and the councillors from our sch, who were on the bus all saw it :p

anyway, at crystal jade, we ordered delicious ramen (the thought of ramen now makes me wana puke.not bcos of the crystal jade one, but cos of what happened during atlantis ytd..can ask me about it if u want to know). the ramen took very long to come and aud's (whose ramen came like 15min b4 the last bowl) even sort of harden when we finally start to eat. usual gossips and names being mentioned..but i guess the highlight was when siting came along and told us about her love story with jy. both of them got crowned as our class' model couple..very xing fu..so swt :)

we watched poseidon after lunch..it was a great movie.very exciting to watch..then we had to split ways after the movie. zhi and i went to shop for an hr after that..and we met aiwen, yinghui, yumin and siting when it almost ended..

four four's totally GREAT...my love story with four four will never end..there will be no typical happy ending cos this story has to go on 4ever...

yo people! hope you guys had fun today! haha i gained a new insight today. =D actually it's not new bah. it's just a RENEWED insight. YEAH! sounds like application question...i just really glad that back in sec 2, our choices to enter ip and to NOT take up triple science and just chem and physics only ended us up into this cozy little class of 22. because it's been about 7 months? since we last shared a classroom and last had common lessons.

but look at 404. JUSSTT look at us. for me, i know i not frequently there at your impromptu meeting up sessions during breaks but it's really cool and great that 404 people still meet up! and gossip and share jokes or whatever. just gives me a very warm feeling =D we've gone for once a month class outing or even more than that....and did attracting attention birthday celebrations for classmates and not cared about being malu at all. i'm just really really glad that i have a class like u guys. thank you to all those who have been coordinating outings and all that...means alot and these are what really will contribute lots to 404 bonding! a few years down the road...hah i can sorta imagine...though a little farfetched. but if a bunch of 404 working in CBD area....meeting up for lunch and gossiping about bosses and colleagues, haha boys or whatever. the scene's funny...but that's the spontanaeity 404 portrays! i love u guys. my life would never have been the same without knowing u guys and having been part of 404! =D

haha anyway!!!! i'm early! but yeahhhhhh...

it feels so great to have a bdae celebrated by 21 pther people. i really enjoyed yesterday's dinner..it was very cosy and the food is nice...haha, xiaowei is so cute in her entry :) thanks four four for the fun, laughter, voices and memories..and we are weaving new ones each day i guess. im going to watch the cd later..hope it will work cos im quite a comp idiot..haha..

hahaha!!! yeah!!! i managed to do the rolling thing!!! muahahaha!!! i'm so smart!!! heez!!! anyway... thank you kailin for the montage!!1 i can watch it and i lurve it!!! hahah!! btw... did tell you all that i'm really really bery bery bery amazed by kailin's typing speed... she was like staring at her fingers when she blogged just now lah!!! so FAST!!! my speed is like 25% of her speed?? haiz!! so xian4 mu4.. shall go back to those primary school typing lessons le... hahaha!!

random point: today shu and i had a small competition today.. we were folding paper planes and seeing whose plane can fly further (that just shows how bored we were during PW). then i showed some people in my class our planes and asking them which plane do they think will fly further... in the end.. everyone, including mr chua, chose shu's lor!!! super sad... but in the end my plane won leh!!! though it didn't fly like a plane... it kept rolling sidewards when i flew the plane lah!!

WAH! yay we have a class birthday coming up! so exciting! some of us are little cheats though! heehee you know who you are. haha some of us already know something heehee! i shan't say what. anyway, really happy i got a new camera! although it's not in orange but in black, i want to thank my dad for getting it for me. haha WITHOUT telling me he's buying tht brand although i said another brand. it has been almost a mth sinc ei blogged here. actually, it's me and zuojin who cant make it for the class outing on tues..really sad..we hav yltc(tues to sat). which means that my entire hol is gone since huangcheng is taking up the first wkend..how i wish i have more time to spend for the hols! but u guys enjoy urselves and take photographs k? i want to see our dear pretty four-fourers.
huang cheng ppl are missing sch today and tml. but tml will be a really long day at vivtoria theatre (8.30 to 11pm). will be dead tired..so u guys enjoy the huangcheng production too,k? the 2nd ju4 is really interesting. 1st one which siting is acting in is very meaningful...okay. i shall stop here and go and sleep..cya on sat or sun at vt..

ok. updates first. haha. erm. for tuesday. 9 pple can go to sentosa. 6 pple cant make it. sadly. 2 pple 50-50. yup. and 5 pple mia. wow. ok. erm i have got a suggestion. =) yup listen to this.

i know some pple dun wanna go sentosa (cuz they scared they get tanned or something). so this is my suggestion!

10am to maybe 2.30pm: sentosa!
then pple who wanna go meet up together to go and play and have fun! (we will factor in lunch somewhere larh hor)
at around 3.30pm, we go meet up with those who dun wanna go sentosa, so that we can go bowling at safra mount faber (then can relive the times of sports sabbaticals)
then mebbe around 6 we can just gather everyone for dinner or something! =) like mini-gathering like dat. so pple that cant make it in the morning and afternoon can just join us for dinner!

just my suggestion. will keep u guys posted again. look at your phone regularly too. going to sms u guys to confirm whether u all r going not. ya. dun dao me. plz reply! =))

on a personal note, i m going to extract my wisdom tooth tml. so i m not going to be wise anymore!!! haha. damn freaked out. cuz everyone has been telling me how painful it will be. how i cannot eat and stuff. ah!!!

Well, since dawnie is rather busy, I shall be NICE and help her. Let's set some dates first, or we'll never get down to planning for our outing. Ok. Firstly, we can't have a dinner on the last day of school. SAD. 'Cause dear 404-ers are a bunch of active and busy people. Haha. Never mind. Then we MUST have an outing during the March holidays then. Heh.

I suggest, um, 14th March, Tuesday! Tag to say if you can make it. If not, then give an alternate date. We shall see if majority of people can make it la. And, really, really sorry to those going for YLTC (dawnie and zuo). I think it's quite hard to accomodate your date leh. Hm. But we'll definitely do something on the FOURTH OF APRIL! (: Anyway, as I was saying, our March outing.. let's go SENTOSA! Heh. I suggest we meet in the morning at Harbourfront MRT. Then we take bus to sentosa. Then, we can go sightseeing (haha) or go beach and play! Play with volleyball, and the water! Haha, to Aiwen, I don't know if can cycle or not. Then, at around 4+ we can go back to mainland Singapore to eat dinner! Any suggestions for dinner? Hahaha. Marche? (ZHI!) Seoul Garden? I don't know. You all suggest la. hello eveyone..

ytd was a special day for all of us.cheers to those who thought of leaving behind the four-four legacy. i think the juniors are pretty keen to learn (at least most of them are), just that they were quite shocked and did not haf enough energy ytd. as for the Os results, no matter what, we should not jus focus our attention on that one or two subject..because we have proven our abilities in other aspects.

it's a pity that we couldnt go out together after that, but luckily, we had the time to talk before the results were released =) im so sorry that i missed the class dinner and cny vist to mrs wong's hse. will go for class outing nxt mth. maybe it can be after huangcheng, to make it more convenient for everyone, or during the hols. but i will haf oac camp from tues to sat..so much time taken up, hope that the mosquitoes wun attacked me again.

waiyee, dun feel jealous of us k? to make u feel better, we dun haf break frm morning to 2pm on every wed.poor stomaches of ours...

okie. pple who went to mrs wong's house: xw, dawn, zj, yumin, jiamin, ME. hahaha... so sad you guys can't go. we met mrs wong's family! that means, mr wong, and the three little mr wongs. and the three little mr wongs like to kick ball! haha.. and zuojin kindly made almond jelly for us, but mrs wong rivaled her small box of almond jelly with a tub of almond jelly. so too bad lah. then mrs wong's jelly got longan one. so sadly, zuojin forgot all abt the jelly until we were leaving mrs wong's house and so we nvr got to eat her jelly lah. so sad. :( aww. anyway, it turned sticky later, which led me to think how the jelly would be sticking around in my stomach had i eaten zuojin's not-only-homemade-but-actually-made-by-zuojin-who-dunno-got-what-grade-for-homeecons almond jelly. oh and then we chit chat with mrs wong lah.. and talk talk talk talk talk. yeah. you know us.

oh and then, i received a msg from mrs wong today. it goes, to everyone who went (which would be 6/22 of us), "... my husband praised 404 girls for being understanding on tue thank you" YAY! :) haha... for the 16 of you who didn't go, um, yeah. my phone went way LAG. i mean, what you expect after you drop your phone as often as i do right? and so, i received a msg from mrs wong that day like, 15 mins aft it was sent or sth to tell us abt sth regarding the meeting time. heh. :) ok. nvm if you don't get it.

MOST of us history peeps went to ms chua's house to wreak havoc in the morning. heh. most of us means all the history students minus yumin (got house guests) and yezi (as yet unknown reasons to me). haha... we played blackjack! YAY! and some of them played with margo (?? how to spell...), ms chua's dog lah! she (the dog) very guai one... which audry insists likes her. i think audry was like terrorizing the dog instead lah. but that's just me. and then we chit chat and chit chat and chit chat loh.

okie. it was quite a fun day, what with all the visits and stuff and talks (which i like a lot), maybe with the exception of the thought of econs test on the next day. aww. so sad right.

oh and for the benefit of those (half the class) who didn't go for the class dinner on wednesday, we went to the prata shop opposite beauty world for dinner. yep. we left at ard 7 plus. dunno where you guys were though. and then we ate lah. we ate A LOT lah! hahha...the whole table was filled with plates of food and milo dinos. heh. i think the uncle forgot give us cherry. sad sia. oh and then again, we talked and talked and talked.

and pple, shu came up with this theory that we should change the location of our gatherings every month cuz we always make too much noise. i guess that means once every month we need to search our (not very empty) minds and maps to come up with places, preferrably with round tables, for gathering. which brings me to....

the gathering for next month! when do you want to go? maybe we shld go during the weekend or aft huang cheng, cuz half the class most prob won't be able to make it again. if we go out during the weekend we don't have to confine the gathering to areas near the school, which means, more choices! hooray.

hello everyone! i'm back here again!

hoped all of you had fun today at the HCI cny celebs! :) most of us gathered together to celebrate and dance and scream and go siao and it really reminded me of the 404 days back in ny... sadly, those days will nvr come back again since we'll nvr be back studying and living ny life anymore. so... is it too much if i asked that on special occasions or at least once a month during our gatherings, we go mad and high together? :)

btw, some of us were thinking abt doing another 404 shirt. what do you think? talk about it on the blog! or the tagboard if you're in a rush. personally i don't mind since my shirt is getting a little stinky and have all those mao mao things come out cuz i wear it quite often.. oh and yeah. wai yee's shirt has turned grey. almost. so yep... what do you think? talk abt it!
